Definition of happiness

happiness is defined as a state of mind or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy as according to wikipedia.. now what does happiness mean to you? getting a new handphone, a new game, trying a new ride at the amusment park or spending time with loved ones.. everyone have their own defition of happiness and thus there is no right or wrong answer.. for me.. happiness is when i see people who surrounds me being healthy and happy for any reasons.. when i see people whom i care about being happy, it brings a smile to my face.. but do you know that despite being around sadness and hurt, etc. there are alot of little things in this world that can make someone happy. for instance, today while i was out i managed to see quite a few things whereby it brought a smile to my face.. and all these signifies different type of happiness..

the first was at the mrt.. this gal was walking towards the control station after meeting her bf who was supposed to be at work.. so while she was trying to dodge people from every direction of the mrt, suddenly she felt a hand tapping her shoulder.. when she turn around.. she saw her bf behind her.. she was so happy to see him sneak out of work just for a little while just to have one last glance before she left for wherever she was going.. she was so happy that she actually hugged him n kissed him before rushing him back to work.. isnt that sweet?? thats something i know i will wish for.. haha.. in her case.. her happiness is when she realised how much she mattered to her bf and where she stands in his heart.. i tink she will be smiling the whole day cuz i know i would.. haha

the next incident was when coke was giving out free coke lights today and this old man waited in line just to get a free coke.. and after he got the coke he was soo happy that he kept looking at the bottle.. some of us may think.. its only a coke light.. u can buy it aniwhere.. but to him.. it may not be just any coke light.. but it maybe a coke light which brought back memories that he temporary forgotten.. have any of you had that before?? when you receive something from someone and that triggers a certain memory that maybe you might or might not want to rmb... i guess majority of you have..

now lastly.. it was at the swimming complex when i saw this.. i swear it was one of the cutest thing i have seen.. after seeing her toddler end his swimming lesson, the mother wanted to bathe the little boy by rinsing him at the outside shower.. but he couldnt stand the water and he ran away from the water with a cheeky smile on his face.. his mother had no choice but to wrap him with a towel.. but from the face of his mother.. it was joy.. i guess she felt happy that her son is actually so cute and mischievious and i guess its a good thing at his age..

aniway to sum it all up.. happiness is something within us.. it is always there inside of us.. its just that sometimes it gets covered by other emotions that we feel happiness is gone.. when one day you feel that happiness is gone.. dont be sad.. dont.. instead.. try something new.. like loving yourself more.. and doing things you wanna do.. dont be afraid of rejection cuz ppl who care wun reject you for who u are.. instead they will embrace u for who u are cuz thats what they love about u.. dont u agree??

aniways today was a special day for me.. and i really enjoyed every minute and second of it.. i guess sometimes it just who you are with which makes a hell load of difference..

People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within.
