ice cream

today i am going to share about ice cream.. i came across a blog by this guy called anntonii.. he is a writer and his entry on ice cream really got me thinking.. this is what he said..

' if you have not been in a relationship before, you would think that it may just be like an ice cream, so sweet and appealing that makes you happy once you get your hands on it. and everytime when you see someone eating ice cream, you would swallow your saliva to quench your desire. you start looking at the melting ice cream in your hands and start to wonder why there is such a big difference once you got it and now. then you start to get frustrated because it is suppose to be an enjoyment like how you see others having it. finally you decide to throw the ice cream away cuz its not the way you want it.. '

so this guy is trying to ask.. are you going to throw every relationship away once its not what we want or expect and start looking for a new one? so what can do actually do??

we can actually enjoy it while it last.. at least even if we were to throw it away.. the taste of that ice cream will always be remembered as part of our memories.. because everything else may fade as we age.. but its only memories that walk and increases as we walk down life..

" The memories of the relationship would put a smile back one day, when we forget about the sadness. "

this ice cream story really appealed to me because it made me realise how one fall in love with another is because of what they expect out of the other person. and once they realise that their expectations arent met, they will just change.. but in life we gotta understand that not everything will go our way no matter how much we want it to be.. so sometimes we just gotta work with what we have and be grateful for it. cuz not everyone get to experience what you have and that makes you special and unique..
